Mabel Lane
The original gardens at this site had outgrown their space and were planted as shade gardens. The mature trees that once shaded the house and gardens were removed, leaving a site that needed an overhaul. The driveway was also repositioned so two cars could park side by side, making room for a new bluestone pathway to lead to the back entrance of the home. The stone wall was rebuilt creating a blank canvas along the house for native and rugged plants, requested by the client. Another garden bed was also recaptured between the new pathway and the large lawn on the double lot, where fruit trees and shrubs were planted amongst other native perennials for color all summer long.
